If you go out shopping at this time of the year you'll agree with me that Diwali is not just the festival of lights but colors too. Delhi's markets are suffused with lights and doused with all kinds of bright colors as if it were going up in flames. People occupied every little space on the street and flows like current of the river. Spirits are light! Even the thriftiest are willing to splurge some of their savings on gifts, clothes and good foods. There is nothing like relishing the gaiety atmosphere on a Diwali eve. It is the best time for families to hang out together and munch on good foods or to go shopping till you drop. Delhi is alive more than ever. The festive mood is in the air. You just have to go out and feel for yourself.

From our visits to some of the most popular markets, we've created a 'Photo feature', but these photos will just give a glimpse of what Delhi is building up to for Diwali. There is nothing to substitute the experience you can have on the streets. Different market place, offers different shopping items to choose from. Delhi is shopping like crazy; get a feel of it.
