Worlds of Wonders:
Worlds of Wonder in Noida is the largest amusement park in Delhi NCR. It is also simply known as WOW. This amusement Park is located in Sector 38A Noida, just behind The Great Indian Place. If you take a metro you can get down at Noida Sector 18 Metro station. From here the Park is just few minutes walk. The size of the Park is large enough to engage you one whole day. This is just the right place to bring your kids and give them a memorable outing.
When I reach WOW, the place was already swarming with school kids in red, blue and grey sweaters. It occurred to me that the place could be one big school compound. Here school kids get liberated from the confines of schools and rules. The most noticeable game was of course the tall free fall also called as Download. I stood there for some time trying to figure out if this place was only for kids. Then as people began boarding into the Download seats I saw two grown up, all covered in beard sinking down to their seats with big smiles. Interestingly they also screamed louder than most kids when the seats free fall from great height. The experience of free fall is you get to defy gravity for a while. In that milliseconds in the air you feel so light and carefree.

Readying for the Download

When I saw the Mega Disco the first thing that comes to my mind is the UFO flying saucer. It spins clockwise-anticlockwise and swings from one end to the other. All you can do is scream and scream.

If you have ever dreamed of driving and smashing into a car or a wall! Then this is it. Children lines up for a carefree ride- the Chart Smashers (or is it the Car Smashers).

Waiting for a turn to ride on Fast Forward- a dizzy machine that spins around an axis.

Shanghai Swingers are colorful and stylish. It is more or less like riding on a swing.  The 65 kg limit can be a bit of a dampener because most people in this country weight more than that. So bingo to the kids!

Dizzy Diana and Jumper (Below) are less thrilling and mainly for kids. 

Loco Motion the mini driving machine can be great fun for kids who are more into video games rather than outdoor activities.

Mini Train

Hippi Hopp- the idea of riding on a beautifully adorned horse was a thrilling fantasy.  The ride is gentle and slow enough to make it possible even for smaller kids.

Big Beat is for the more adventurous.

Swan Boat is one game enjoyed by young and old. It is the only sport that seems practical for the old.  Though the pond could do better with more space, it can be a decent ride, even on hot day.

There are dining places everywhere. Don't expect for a big fast food pavilion or a huge food court. If you want KFCs and McDs, The Great Indian Place Mall is just next door. Here you'll get snacks, drinks and lots of pop corns. Look out for a souvenir or a gift shop popular with kids.

and Rs 450 for unlimited ride.
