Lakshmi Narayan Temple Birla Mandir Bhopal

Bhopal:-In the 11th century, Raja Bhoja built the city of Bhojpal and today it is known as Bhopal. The Mughal rulers captured the city of Bhojpal and in 1723, Bhopal was formed. This city is the capital of Madhya Pradesh and often regarded as the City of Many Splendors. You can visit the Jama Masjid, a beautiful mosque built in 1837 by Kudsia Begum. On the banks of the Upper Lake, visit Gohar Mahal, an architectural gem of 1820. Visit the Upper and Lower Lake for paddle boats and motorboats. The bridges have been divided by an over bridge. The other places of interest in Bhopal are Bharat Bhawan, Van Vihar, Jawahar Chowk, Government Archaeological Museum, and Laxmi Narayan Temple and Museum.

Gwalior State of Madhya Pradesh

Gwalior:-The history of Gwalior will take you back to the 8th century AD but today it is a modern city. Rajput clans ruled here and they made incredible forts, palaces and monuments. You should visit the Gwalior Fort, which is a landmark in itself. The outer walls of the fort are two miles in length and 35 feet high. The architectural work in the interiors displays high quality and precision. Gujari Mahal, Man Mandir Palace and Suraj Kund will take you back to the bygone times. In Gwalior, you can also visit Teli ka Mandir, Sas Bahu Temple, Jai Vilas Palace and Tansen's Tomb as these are a part of cultural heritage




Marble Rock Jabalpur




  Jabalpur:-In the 12th century, Jabalpur was the capital of the Gonda Kings. Bhedaghat along the river Narmada is famous for the marble rock. At Bhedaghat, you can visit Duandhar waterfall and Chausath Yogini temple. Enjoy a boat ride at Panchvati ghat. Jabalpur has always been influenced by the Maratha and Mughal empires and it is the birthplace of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Osho Rajneesh. Built by the Gond rulers, the beautiful Madan Mahal Fort on a rocky hill offers a panoramic view of the city. Visit Sangram Sagar Bajnath, Rani Durgavati Memorial Museum, and Tilwara Ghat.

Indore Durbar



 Indore:-Rani Ahilyabai planned and built the city of Indore, which lies in the extreme west of Madhya Pradesh. Malhar Rao Holkar founded this city in 1693 AD. Bijasen Tekri is located on a hillock, which was a guesthouse and now it has been converted to an arms museum and temple of Bijasen Mata. Rajwada is a seven storied palace built 200 years back and it is a popular tourist destination. The other major attractions are Gomatgiri, Khajrana, Chhatris and Town Hall.


Mahakaleshwar Temple-Ujjain
Ujjain:-On the bank of River Shipra, Ujjain is a sacred city since time immemorial. Earlier known as Ujjayini, today the city is famous by the name of Ujjain. The Mahakaleshwar temple in the holy city of Ujjain is glorious and it has been mentioned in the puranas as well. The places to visit here are Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Chintaman Ganesh, Pir Matsyendranath, Bhartrihari Caves and Kaliadeh Palace.


Pachmarhi :-This is a hill station in Madhya Pradesh and a weekend getaway for many. Also known as Satpura ki Rani, this hill station is located at an elevation of 1,000 meters. Tourists come here throughout the year and here you can see cave paintings in the forest and some of them are 10,000 years old. Visit the Pandava Caves, which is a popular tourist attraction. The other places to see here are Gupt Mahadev, Jatashankar, Handi Khoh, Patharchatta, and Naagdwari.



Khajuraho Temple

Khajuraho:-It is a temple town and also called Land of the Moon God. The temples are filled with erotic structures and on your excursion to Khajuraho; you will see forts, museum and palaces. The Rajgarh Palace is 50 years old and a landmark, too. The Khajuraho temples of the 9th and 12th century are well known for sculptures and architectural wonders. They represent passion, eroticism, dance and music. The sculpture depicts deities, their attendants, and celestial maidens. UNESCO has declared Khajuraho as a World Heritage Site. The temples to visit here are Chitragupta Temple, Kandariya Mahadev Temple, and Vishwanath temple.


Other popular destinations in Madhya Pradesh

There are several other tourist destinations in Madhya Pradesh including Adinath Temple, which has been dedicated to Adinath, the famous Jain Saint. The Ajaygarh Fort, Beejamandal Temple, Benisagar Dam, Brahma Temple, Chattarbhuj Temple, Chitragupta Temple, and Devi Jagdamba Temple should be visited; Bandhavgarh National Park, which has the highest density of Royal Bengal Tigers. Here you will get the opportunity to see tigers in the natural habitat. The other national parks to visit here are Satpura National Park, Kanha National Park, and Panna National Park.
